The Cottage

Our cottage was the Ingonish general store at a time when the road passed on the ocean side of our property. A small dip in the grass indicates where the road was before it fell to the sea, but the little yellow cottage still holds its own with a beautiful view of the ocean. The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and fold-out couch, the other with a 3/4 and single bed. (Maximum occupancy is 6 people.) The kitchenette is fully equipped with a fridge, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and dishes/utensils. The porch offers a cozy place to dine, sheltered from the wind, with a full view of the ocean. The four piece bath has a tub with shower, toilet and sink. The rate is $95 plus tax for 2, $5 per additional person over 12. Our off-season rate is $80 plus tax based on double occupancy. Space heaters are provided during colder weather, as the cottage does not have electric heat.
